Korean Literature Now (KLN): English Quarterly on Korean Literature
About
LTI Korea’s English-language quarterly Korean Literature Now (KLN) introduces Korean literature through interviews, cover feature, excerpts, special features on classical literature, reviews of Korean literary works published overseas, and essays by leading figures. KLN is distributed to more than 3,500 universities, libraries, and cultural institutions around the world. The entire content of KLN is available for free on kln.or.kr.

- Initially launched as list: Books from Korea in 2008, the magazine was published four times a year in English and Chinese up until 2013. The magazine in its earlier format focused on promoting the sales of publication rights of Korean titles, and contained articles on bestsellers, steady sellers and new arrivals, special features on various themes, interviews, and reportage on the publishing industry (publishing trends, rights sales, etc.).

- From the 2014 Summer Issue (Issue No. 24), KLN was transformed into an English-language quarterly specializing in the globalization of Korean literature. The title changed to Korean Literature Now from the 2016 Summer Issue (Issue No. 32).
- In addition to the paper format, the magazine is available as an online webzine (kln.or.kr) with full access to its content. The website provides exclusive digital content such as author interviews, book readings, reader participatory videos, essays on the globalization of Korean literature, webtoons, and more.
