Literary Translation Internships

InstitutesAgencies, enterprises, cooperatives and organizations that publish and promote Korean literature overseas.
TranslatorsGraduates of Special Course, Regular Course and Translation Atelier of LTI Korea Translation Academy.
PeriodUp to 3 months
Details- Monthly employment subsidies: 2 million KRW per person
- Requirements: The wage must be above the minimum rate and include the four major insurances.

Cultural Contents Translation Internships

InstitutesAgencies, enterprises, cooperatives and organizations that export and promote Korea’s cultural contents.
EligibilityGraduates of Advanced Course in Cultural Contents Translation of LTI Korea Translation Academy.
PeriodUp to 6 months
Details- Monthly employment subsidies: 2 million KRW per person
- Requirements: The wage must be above the minimum rate and include the four major insurances.

Timeline

LTI Korea selects participating institutes.→LTI Korea finds institutes that match the interests of translators. The institutes run translation tests.→The interns and the institutes sign contracts.→LTI Korea and the institutes sign MoUs.→Internships and payment of wages (Interns-Institutes)→Submission of final reports (LTI Korea-Institutes)
